GET USDEBT

Artist James Montgomery Flagg depicts the stern gaze of Uncle Sam. As Uncle Sam recruited soldiers during WWI, he now recruits signers for A Petition Against Excessive U.S. National Debt and FIscal Irresposibility, to combat the U.S. Debt Crisis.

2023 marks the U.S. Debt above $33 trillion. The cost of servicing the U.S. Debt exceeds the U.S. defense budget. In the USDEBT meme (left), we see a hesitant Jerome Powell and skeptical Janet Yellen behind Pepe & friends. As DOGE, PEPE, and SHIB prove to be recipients of increased deficit spending, Uncle Sam stands with Pepe & friends, encouraging us to store value in fixed-supply assets instead of inflationary assets such as the U.S. Dollar.

The USDEBT meme references well-known war poster with phrase, "I want you for U. S. Army" (below). Uncle Sam points his finger to recruit soldiers during World War I (WWI).
